Our City

Oxford, What's Your Story?

Discover what’s really inside the city we’ve been placed in.

A City of Life and Learning

Our vision is to be a Christian school for Oxford, reflecting the vibrant, diverse community of Oxford and treasuring its heritage and history. We were proud to support ‘Oxford Open Doors’ in 2019, run by Oxford Preservation Trust who promote the different spaces of the city and tell their stories.

We make regular visits to inspiring sites and museums around the city and during the 2020 school closures, created a website for families in the city to explore ‘the world beneath their feet’. You can explore the website ‘Oxford, what’s your story?’ which we developed.

We treasure the Christian heritage of this city, recognising the many men and women of faith who have lived and died here, and seeking to learn from their example of faith, hope, and love. In our first ‘online’ assembly in April 2020, Mrs Nesbitt captured some of the city’s story of life and learning through a poem of CS Lewis.
